How To Become A Pilot

1SPL (Student Pilot License)
 
We offer Student Pilots License (SPL) course. After completing this program, the student become eligible to start flying for the private pilot license (PPL) and Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
 

Course Duration: 3 Months

Course Type: Full/Part time as Required

Examination:: An oral exam is conducted by a board chaired by CFI

License: Issued by the GFC (on Behalf of DCGA)


 

SPL/FRTOL (R)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

10th Standard Certificate

AGE

Minimum age - 16 years on the date of joining and 16 years or above for the issue of Student Pilot License. For PPL17 years or above for the issue of Private Pilot
2PPL (Private Pilot License)
 
We offer Private Pilot License course. The course is provided to candidates who want to become licensed hobby pilots. After completing this course, the candidate can also apply for the CPL.
 

Course Duration:6 Months

Requirements: SPL, FRTOL (R)

Examination:: 3 Theory papers, Day flying test.

License: Issued by the DCGA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

10th Standard Certificate

AGE

Minimum age - 16 years on the date of joining 17 years or above during the issue of Private Pilot.
3CPL (Commercial Pilot License)
 

We offer Commercial Pilot License (CPL) in 3 different categories.

  • Only CPL
  • CPL + ME(Multi-Engine)
  • CPL + ME + IR (Instrument Rating)
 

Course Duration: 12-18 months depending upon the course type. These programs are for those aspirants who want to choose commercial pilot as their career.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

10 + 2 certificate with Physics and Mathematics

AGE

Candidates should be 17 years on the date of joining and 18 years or above for the issue of Commercial Pilot License

 

Whether you want to become a private or a commercial pilot, we strongly advise you to undergo a medical examination before the start of your training. It is better to be sure you meet Class 1 and 2 medical requirements.

Anyone who wishes to become a pilot needs to know about Type Rating. Simply put, type rating is a certification issued by the country’s regulatory body (such as DGCA in India) that certifies that a pilot is fit to fly certain types of aircraft. Once you have graduated from a flight school with all the qualifications needed to become a First Officer, you will need to get type rated on the aircraft you are going to fly for your future employer.
A type rating is a must when one plans to fly aircraft that weigh in excess of 5600 kgs mean take-off weight and for turbojet-powered aircraft and for multi-engine jet aircraft. Once you have secured a type rating on a particular aircraft type, you are ready to.

DGCA SETS UP PANEL TO STUDY A FASTER, CHEAPER PILOT TRAINING PROGRAMME

India is studying an alternate method of training commercial pilots that requires less hour of flying a training aircraft — hence lowering costs for aspiring aviators — and more in simulators. Director General of Civil Aviation chief Arun Kumar has set up an internal panel to study the pros and cons of this “multi crew pilot license” (MPL) system. About 60 countries, like EU nations, Singapore, Japan and UK have already adopted UN aviation arm International Civil Aviation Organisations’ (ICAO) MPL standards.
